THE "FULL LENGTH 2009" PRIZE GOES TO DOMINIK MATWIEJCZYK, DIRECTOR OF "CZARNY" (BLACK). CONGRATULATIONS!

  Full Length  Is the only festival exclusively devoted to independent full – length feature films in Poland. Such films have their special place in the filmmaking industry and their artistic and intellectual quality continues to develop. The filmmakers are driven by the need to make a statement and the genuine desire to create films, rather than commercial incentives. The pictures are based on the authors’ own scripts, which allows them to serve as an important and authentic medium of expression for the young generation. We believe that the full length format of the films encourages the authors to express deeper, better considered views on relevant issues, and the audiences to better appreciate the thoughts and messages carried by the pictures. This led to the idea of creating a place where such films could be presented in a way allowing their authors to directly reach the audiences in a comfortable environment. We believe that the “Full Length” Festival is such a place.

8 pm -  “Lodo", 105 min. Directed by Karlos Alastruey

KARLOS ALASTRUEY born in 1963 in Bilbao (Basque Country, Spain). Currently Professor at the University of Navarra.
Karlos makes films about the human and cultural values. In 2004 he received the Gold Medal UNICA for his first feature film. His next film "Anamorphosis" is currently in postproduction.

Three levels of awareness of Sarah: obsessions with the past and present demons pushing her towards her own internal hell. Five people in a dark, empty and uninhabited town are looking for answers to the question about his situation until the newcomer explains their place and role in this strange world.
Sarah travels through the wilds and she want to leave behind the unfriendly reality , but there are people who have different plans for her...

6 pm - „God no say so”, 88 min. (documentary film) Directed by Brigitte Utrat Kornetzky

BRIGITTE UTTAR KORNETZKY born 1959, from 1978  to 1986 studies of art, music, philosophy and law before embracing cinema.  Independent filmmaker, traveler, artist and musician, writer, part time journalist.

God is the backdrop, not the centerpiece, for this film about a flourish of humanity in the wake of evil disaster in West Africa, with sensitively composed beautiful images.
Tens of thousands of hands were chopped off during the 11 year war, to be sent to the president of Sierra Leone. "The hand you voted with for the civilian
government," rebels would say, "you will never vote with again."

8 pm - “Czech film”, 50 min. Directed by Lukasz Jedynasty

Lukasz Jedynasty (Sheben) - Born in 1981, the award-winning creator of "Bear-Pysie", the creator of a series of culinary "Cook with Shebenem. His adventure with an amateur film began in 1997 and continues today. His achievements include several short and long forms of film.

2011, preparations for EURO 2012 will enter into the final phase. However, Polish President tempted 5 million euros, decided to sell to Chech Republic the right to organization of Euro 2012 ...Fortunately, after three years in a coma, wakes up Thomas “Hare” Krolikowski, (ex) cop of flesh and blood, ruthless oppressor of the Czech mafia. Unfortunately, someone still wants him dead...

8 pm  - "Eleventh not run” Directed by Robert Wrzosek.

Robert Wrzosek born in Dzierzoniow, earned a living in various places in Europe as a builder and not only. However, the appointment of acting proved to be stronger. He returned to Polish, in 1997, complete study of acting "Lart Studio” in Cracow, in 2001, the Department Acting as the oldest student in the history of the Wroclaw Academy of Arts. "Eleventh not run” is his first full-length.

He takes her on a journey. Not to show her beautiful mountain surroundings, or spend a few days in an isolated place in the company of beautiful women. He has to set out plans. When they reached the place, her expectations for the trip are brutally verified. These few days promising innocently turns into a journey that leads both to the crossroads. What is the price you need to choose an appropriate way, rather than turn back? The action takes place not between the characters, but their interiors.

Saturday (21. 11)

6 pm - „Now and ever”, 99 min. Directed by Artur Pilarczyk

Artur Pilarczyk - born in 1975. He graduated Polish philology at the University of Wroclaw. Films always fascinated him, and for several years he realize his own projects. He gained experience in many student and professional plans. Author of several short films - "Between Us" (2004), "His words" (2006). This film was awarded at many festivals. The author is a cultural award winner wARTo 2009 Gazeta Wyborcza in the film category.

Film is a story of a young man, a student AWF-u. By chance he goes to a meeting of the charismatic Renewal in the Spirit, which does a great impression on him. He ask for to get a girl's love, he loves Request is fulfilled, but this event makes the man decides to go a different way in his life ...

8.30 pm - "At Oglog, 85 min. Directed by Kuba Zubrzycki, Art Factory

Kuba Zubrzycki, founder of the group Fabryczna Art (2003), author of films Matnia,0,5. Co-author films: Chasing the Acids, No stress. Currently, the first year of the Lodz Film School at the faculty director.

At Oglog it's the dark image of society at beginning of the new millennium and sick rules. In a psychiatric hospital OGLOG strange things happen. Suddenly disappears from the cell of the patient Doctor Vincent and his position appears out of nowhere, HE, claiming to be God. HIS stay completely changes the relationship between patients and hospital authorities. Immersed in the alcohol fumes amok Doctor wanders the human subconscious, controlled by a higher instance ....

Sunday (22. 11)

6 pm - "Sad", 80 min. Directed by Peter Matwiejczyk

He is attended the films since 1992. In 1999 he went to film school in Wroclaw, where he met a group of film enthusiasts with whom he founded in 2001, an informal Independent Film Studios Mouflon Pictures. In 2004 and 2005 I made a video on its own as exemplified by "What are my eyes," and rewarded "Homo Father" or "pig". The year 2005 is the time when he began working with Peter ¯ukowski. Their first joint venture was "Beautiful. In 2008, returns to comedy, which resulted in the "Buy Now", a film about the crazy brothers showcasing their girlfriend on auction sites.

SAD is a story about attempts to rescue the family. Paul undergoing midlife crisis. He feels more and more tired of his job, life. Is his family - his wife Rose and her daughter have more and more secrets? When he sees that his family was falling apart, he decide to act. Takes all on holiday to Croatia. Beautiful place and the rest have put together a disintegrated family. As it turned out to be the place everyone exposed to a severe test. Child's illness and the appearance of the mysterious Anna change their vacation into a nightmare.

8 pm - "Black", 105 min. Directed by Dominik Matwiejczyk.

Dominik Matwiejczyk, born. 4.04.1979 in Wroclaw. Director, screenwriter and filmmaker, television producer, film studio owner PARADOX FILM. For his short films got more than 50 awards, including: in Germany, Belgium and Estonia. He was also director of TV series PITBULL.

Black is the pseudonym of 30 year old man. He comes to his native village after several years of absence. Coming from a big city, where he works on a well-paid job. He left right after high school. His departure was realted to the experiences of young Black. His mother broke down after his father left to another woman, and when his father in mysterious circumstances committed suicide.
